Tour Program

1. Day

Pickup: Your full-day excursion begins in the morning, where our team members will pick you up from your hotel. Accompanied by your tour guide, you will be taken to your first stop in a modern, fully air-conditioned and comfortable bus. The guide, as well as the driver, is responsible for ensuring that you have a smooth and comfortable trip. Additionally, the guide will explain everything you need to know about the attractions and places you will visit.

Göreme Panorama: The first stop of your trip is Göreme Panorama. From here you can enjoy the magnificent panoramic view of Göreme town. Therefore, be sure to take stunning photos of the fairy chimneys in the area.

Derinkuyu: Since you will be visiting the underground city, your next stop is Derinkuyu. This particular city is the largest and most popular among the 36 underground cities that can be found in Cappadocia. They were built as an escape area that Christians used to avoid prosecution. The underground city will impress you with its size, as it consists of eight floors containing wineries and kitchens, among other rooms. It is important to note that only four floors are accessible. Once you get there, the guide will tell you interesting facts about the underground city.

Ihlara Valley: Then the Cappadocia Green Tour continues towards Ihlara Valley, which is a 14Km green river canyon. The bus will drop you off at a certain point and you will enjoy a 3.5Km walk along the river with your guide. Here you will have the chance to observe the Ağaçaltı cave church, which was built in the 4th century and contains paintings from the 10th century. The walking session ends at a spot with a riverside restaurant.

Lunch: You will enjoy a much-needed lunch break at a local riverside restaurant. During your time there, you will have the chance to recharge your batteries and relax before continuing your trip. Lunch includes soup, salad and a choice of trout, chicken, vegetarian dish or meatballs.

Güvercinlik Valley: A short photo break in Güvercinlik Valley on the outskirts of Göreme. Get the chance to admire nature and enjoy panoramic views of the area. An interesting point is that the valley takes its name from the old pigeon houses carved into the cliff. The guide will provide an interesting description of the valley and let you know everything you need to know about the area.

Onyx Workshop and Return: Onyx jewelry factory is the last stop of this exciting trip. After this, the bus will continue on its way back. Cappadocia Green Tour ends as soon as you return to your hotel. At the end of your full-day trip, you will be amazed by the landscape and attractions of the Cappadocia region. With wonderful experiences, this tour will definitely become a long-lasting memory from your holidays.
